Prevention
Dogs and cats can hide for a long time that something is wrong. Blood tests and ultrasound show a disease before it appears, when it is easiest to treat. Once a year, twice for older animals.

We only see booked appointments and each one has its own reserved time. We have no idle hours and no night emergency service that you would pay for in the price.
You are treated by vets and nurses from the Vetline hospital, and the results go into the same patient record as at the hospital. If an X-ray, CT or surgery is needed, you continue at Staromestská.
Right in the clinic we have ultrasound, analysers for blood count and blood biochemistry, a microscope for cytology and a urine analyser.

With diarrhoea. Giardia, an intestinal parasite that mainly affects young dogs and cats. A gastrointestinal diet in smaller portions several times a day, with detailed advice for the owners.

She started vomiting in the morning and had diarrhoea. Normal temperature, no heart arrhythmia, negative Giardia test. Painful abdomen. Probiotics twice a day and monitoring at home.

Weak and underweight. A fever of 41.2 °C and dehydration. We sent her for an X-ray to the Vetline hospital on Staromestská.

Why is FastVet cheaper than a typical clinic?
We only see booked appointments with a reserved time and have no night emergency service. The vets and standards are the same as at the Vetline hospital.
What does the package price include?
All examinations listed for the package, including VAT. It does not include medication, consumables or pet food. If the vet recommends anything extra, you will hear about it and its price in advance.
How do I pay?
You pay the full package price by card online when booking, through the secure GP webpay gateway. It is not a booking fee, and you do not pay for the package again at the clinic. Medication and materials, if the vet uses any, are paid at the clinic.
What if I cannot make it?
If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, we refund the full amount. Between 48 and 24 hours in advance, we refund half and you get a coupon for 50% off a replacement appointment; later, you get the coupon only. The coupon is valid for 7 days from the cancellation. You can reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours in advance, with one click using the link in your confirmation.
How do I use a coupon?
Enter the coupon code in the booking under I have a coupon code and the discount is deducted from the price straight away. The coupon is valid for 7 days from the cancellation for the same service as in the cancelled appointment, or for a service at the same price, for one booking. Extras, such as an additional vaccine, are paid in full.
What if the examination finds something more serious?
You continue directly at the Vetline hospital on Staromestská, which is open around the clock and has CT, surgery and inpatient care. The clinic's results are in the same patient record.
I have an acute problem. Can I come straight away?
Acute conditions belong at the Vetline hospital, which is open non-stop. Call +421 2 5441 2869. Online booking is for planned visits.
What should I bring?
The vaccination booklet or pet passport and any previous results you have. Keep dogs on a lead and cats in a carrier. The clinic is at Vrakunská 43, Bratislava.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Cancellation
Cancellation at least 48 hours in advance: full refund. 48 to 24 hours in advance: half refund plus a coupon for 50% off a replacement appointment. Later cancellations are not refunded, but you also get the coupon. The coupon is valid for 7 days from the cancellation. Rescheduling is free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.
Missed appointment
If you do not attend or arrive more than 15 minutes late and did not cancel in advance, the amount paid is not refunded. You will, however, get a coupon for 50% off your next visit, valid 7 days.
One click
You reschedule or cancel with one click using the link in your confirmation, sent by e-mail and text message. Refunds go back to your card automatically.
